Our Founder

R Parfums is a brand of art perfume reflecting the passion of Rei Nguyen – A Vietnamese perfume artist, ever since she fell in love with Koudou. The love for the true art of Oriental scents has led Rei to study perfume design and aromatherapy. Inspired by the Asian materials, Rei tells her own stories by letting her truest feeling of art and philosophy through scents and incorporating them into perfumes.

Brand's Inspiration

The overarching concept of R PARFUMS is the Asian contemporary aesthetics, emphasizing on Traditional element, selective Cultural Heritage, and Exclusivity. This is reflected throughout the entire brand.

R PARFUMS chose orange as the main color. When researching royal costumes, the color “hoa hoang” (orange) was used for the Queen, Prince and Princess. The orange color of R PARFUMS is taken from the color of the royal garment, portraying two meanings: “Soft Power” as well as expressing the creativity that our team is aiming for.

Brand's meaning

In Japanese, Rei (レイ) means 0, which is also Rei Nguyen’s favorite number. Regarding Asian symbolism, the word “humanity” (人) not only creates a sense of intimacy and origin, but also implies human as the core value of our brand. In other words, you will see the letter “R” stylized by the number 0 – the circle and the letter (人) of R PARFUMS.

Our Showroom

R Parfums focuses on the quality of raw materials and the sophistication in perfume formulas. Each perfume bottle’s label is also a work of patina art by local artisans. The patina art has been researched and developed in executive 12 months in order to honor the originality of the product.

The showroom of R Parfums is curated as an art exhibition, reflecting the distinctive Asian contemporary aesthetics and menticulous craftsmanship.
