“No Mud, No Lotus.”
Beneath the moonlight, deep within the mud, the lotus rests. Darkness holds its quiet magic, while the damp earth offers shelter. Its petals folded in stillness, gathering strength, patiently awaiting the dawn.
Beyond its familiar image of purity and spirituality, the lotus reveals something deeply human: resilience, inner strength, patience, and solitude.
I grew up with Vietnamese literature portraying the lotus in sunlight - pure and dignified. Yet I always wondered: what does the flower do at night? Does it sleep well in the mud?
Only now do I realize that those long nights, resting in its bed of mud, are what give the lotus its strength and quiet pride when daylight comes.
This perfume is my sonnet to our beloved flower.
