Pluviophile – The Rain Lover

Pluviophile – The Rain Lover was the first scent exhibition by R Parfums, open from 19 to 31 July 2024 at the 34 Nguyễn Duy Hiệu store in Ho Chi Minh City. Rei Nguyen told seven stories of rain, from Vietnam to Japan, in seven scents made for the exhibition.

Opening words

“Pluviophile” is another story about rain. In the rain you savour a quiet joy: its sound becomes a soft curtain, and behind it the voices within are free to speak. The rain will soon pass. But the scent made for those who love it lingers on the skin long after.
