The house

A corner above the walking street

Number 42 stands on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street. Up on Level 2, R Parfums keeps a corner inside a larger store, and shares its door and its counter.

It is one of our three houses in Ho Chi Minh City, open from 9:00 until 22:00 every day, so you can come in the morning or after dinner. A scent needs time on the skin before it shows its base: wear one here, walk the street, and decide on your way back.

Eau de Hajime, Pluviophile, Nostalgic March, 221B, Shadow Éclat and Béton Chaud: all six are open here. Try them on paper strips first, then put the one you keep returning to on your skin.

Three pieces of brass

One piece stays bare brass, one has turned fully to patina, one is caught midway. The brass is corroded and polished by hand, then set on the glass. Turn the bottle under the light before you choose.

Ceramic

A cap fired at 1000°C

A round ceramic cap, a tassel, and a small ceramic charm engraved with R. The kiln decides the glaze and the maker’s hand the tassel, so each Ceramic bottle comes to you as it was finished. The glaze shifts with the light and from one firing to the next. Ceramic arrives at the houses in late November.

Order on the site and your bottle waits for you on Level 2. We currently deliver within Vietnam only. Visiting from abroad? Collect your order at any of our three houses.

From the walking street to Level 2

Walk along Nguyễn Huệ to number 42, The Café Apartment building, and go up to Level 2. There, look for NOTE – The Scent Lab: R Parfums has its own corner inside, and the team at the counter will open all six scents for you.

If you need a hand finding the way up, call before you come.

    Yes. All six scents are open to try on skin. The two 50 ml bottles: Patina on Brass, with three pieces of brass worked by hand, from 4.212.000 ₫, and Ceramic, with a round cap of glazed, kiln-fired clay, from 3.580.200 ₫ (Ceramic arrives at the houses in late November). Prices include 8% VAT.

  • Can I collect an online order here?

    Yes. At checkout, choose ‘Collect from one of our three houses’, then Nguyễn Huệ. Pay by VietQR in VND or by credit card in USD. A VietQR order is held for 60 minutes while the transfer arrives, and we email you when your bottle is ready.

  • Can I buy R Parfums outside Vietnam?

    We currently deliver within Vietnam only. Visiting from abroad? Collect your order at any of our three houses. In Taiwan, R Parfums is available through our official distributor, Taigrance (小台香), in Taipei.
