The house

The third house, in the centre of Sài Gòn

26 Lý Tự Trọng is the newest of our three houses in Ho Chi Minh City and our second in Sài Gòn Ward. On Level 3, R Parfums keeps a corner inside a larger store, and shares its door, its counter and its people.

The hours are long: 9:00 until 22:00, every day of the week, so you can come before work or after dinner.

Finding the house

On Lý Tự Trọng

Number 26 Lý Tự Trọng is in Sài Gòn Ward. On Level 3 you will find Saigon Scent Lab: R Parfums has its own corner there, and the team at the counter will show you all six scents. Our house on Nguyễn Huệ is roughly 570 metres to the south-east, as the crow flies.

Both houses stay open until 22:00, so one evening can take in the two.

Eau de Hajime, Pluviophile, Nostalgic March, 221B, Shadow Éclat and Béton Chaud stand side by side. Try them on paper first, then wear the one that stays with you, and notice how it has changed by the time you are back down on Lý Tự Trọng.

Three pieces of brass

One piece stays bare brass, one has turned fully to patina, one is caught midway. Each is corroded and polished by hand, then set on the glass. Turn the bottle under the light before you choose.

Ceramic

A cap fired at 1000°C

A round ceramic cap, a tassel, and a small ceramic charm engraved with R. The kiln decides the glaze and the maker’s hand the tassel, so each Ceramic bottle comes to you as it was finished. The glaze shifts with the light and from one firing to the next. Ceramic arrives at the houses in late November.

    We currently deliver within Vietnam only. Visiting from abroad? Collect your order at any of our three houses. In Taiwan, R Parfums is available through our official distributor, Taigrance (小台香), in Taipei.
